Development & Grants Department

The mission of the Development & Grants Department is to oversee the grant proposal development process from start to finish for all district-level, broad impact projects across Hamilton County Schools. Development & Grants staff are responsible for researching, analyzing, writing, and coordinating both public and private grant funding applications.

The Department of Development & Grants actively seeks funding to:

 - Implement innovative projects 
 - Pilot promising new ideas
 - Further the district's strategic initiatives
 - Strengthen education through the development of robust partnerships with community organizations

Development & Grants activities include:

- Project and grant strategy development for potential grant-funded projects
- Researching available local, state, federal, private foundation, and corporate grant opportunities
- Review and analysis of available grant opportunities for fit
- Communicating with funders to research and develop grant proposals
- Coordinating grant development activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Review of grant proposals and budgets prior to submission
- Project management for grant proposal development
- Coordination of post-award grant reporting
