Important Information for Families Participating in REACH


Location

  • To see a list of REACH sites, scroll down to the Summer REACH Sites section.

Transportation

  • Transportation to REACH is provided for all students grades K-8. For a list of bus routes, scroll down to the Summer REACH Bus Routes section.
    • As we makes transportation adjustments due to enrollment, we anticipate small updates will be made to this list on Friday, 6/4 and Wednesday, 6/9.
  • Transportation to High Schools providing summer programming varies for grades 9-12 by site and you need to contact your site for more information on if transportation is offered.

  • For car riders, doors open at 8 a.m. and your child should be dropped off by 8:25 a.m.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING AS THERE IS SOME IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION FOR OUR FAMILIES TO KNOW:

For our magnet school students, transportation will be provided to and from your neighborhood zone school only. For other locations, families will be required to provide transportation to and from that location for their Summer REACH student(s). 

After-Care

  • Some REACH sites will provide HCS SACC and some will have extended day camp options provided by an HCS community partner.
  • To sign up for after-care services, additional registration is required through the after-care provider (Summer REACH registration does not confirm after-care services).

What to Bring/Other Information

  • All materials are provided at REACH.
  • While breakfast and lunch are provided, you can send a meal with your student.
  • There is no special dress code for REACH.

At no cost to families, REACH provides students with summer fun and learning with friends.

Students can attend one or both sessions which include English Language Arts, Math, STEAM, sports and games!

Transportation, meals and snacks will be provided for all students as well.

  • 1st Session  June 7 - 25
    The first session focuses on reinforcing learning from this school year for your student’s current grade level.
  • 2nd Session July 7 - 27
    The second session focuses on preparing students for the next school year in your student’s upcoming grade level.

Elementary hours: M-F, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Middle/High hours: M-Th, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

*Some sites also have extended day camp options for dismissal as late at 6 pm. See site details below.
