In an effort to promote a productive and responsible citizenry, Social Studies instruction in Hamilton County Schools aims to foster in each student a strong sense of cultural awareness, a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives, the ability to engage in civil discourse, the commitment to embrace democratic values, and the capacity to thrive in a global society.
