Vision and Beliefs
Science instruction is a core component of student’s academic life preparing them with
skills of thinking critically and logically, analyzing and interpreting data, drawing
conclusions, and developing explanations that are based on evidence. K-12 science courses
enable students to develop an in depth understanding of the major science disciplines
throughout a student’s elementary, middle, and high school experiences affording them
frequent interactions with phenomena from the natural and man-made worlds.
